The mission of the Amboy Fire Protection District and the Amboy Volunteer Firemen is to continue to provide the best possible Fire, and Emergency Medical Services to the fellow citizens of Amboy and surrounding communities. Our members are a group of highly skilled, trained, and experienced professional volunteers who are dedicated to protect life, property and the environment from fire and related disasters. We provide the highest quality of emergency medical service care to its fellow citizens.

To best achieve our mission, the Amboy Fire Protection District is committed to:
Provide highly efficient and exceptional emergency response for fire, rescue and medical calls;
Provide public education and awareness, and actively participate in the community to provide for the safety and well being of the people who live, work and travel through the Amboy Fire Protection District;
Provide the members of the Amboy Fire Department with the highest quality of training and education.

The Amboy Fire Protection District and the Amboy Volunteer Firemen take great pride in both its rich history and its progressive future, while constantly striving to increase the efficiency and quality of service to the citizens of the Amboy Fire Protection District.
